The Lantronix xPrintServer offers an easy solution for anyone looking to print from an iPad or iPhone. Normally this is only possible using a special Airprint-compatible printer, or has to be done by e-mailing a document to yourself for printing on a computer. The xPrintServer adds Airprint connectivity to almost any existing printer, so there's no need to replace your existing hardware just to accommodate iPad/iPhone users.

Print jobs can be sent to the printer from any app that offers the Print option on the Share menu. A wide range of printers are supported including the Star TSP143ECO thermal receipt printers, as well as many standard A4 printers. The xPrintServer allows a single printer to be shared among multiple devices. A full list of supported printers can be found on the Lantronix website.

The xPrintServer includes a port for connecting a single USB printer. It also includes an Ethernet port so it can be connected to your network. The xPrintServer will automatically recognise other supported printers on the network and make them available for use via Airprint.

The xPrintServer is ideal for those using a web browser-based POS system across multiple devices as it allows receipts to be printed from any PC or other device. Staff can complete a sale in full using their portable devices instead of having to wait for a terminal to become available for receipt printing. It is compact in size, discrete, and easy to install.

Requires iOS 4.2 or later running on iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Requires Mac OS X Lion (10.7) or higher on Mac. Windows XP and Windows 7 are supported for printing to USB printers via xPrintServer. The xPrintServer must be connected to your network by Ethernet. Airprint devices (iPad/iPhone) must be connected to the same network by Wifi.
