Description
Small, lightweight and easy to use, the Motorola CS3070 is ideal in situations where a typical handheld barcode scanner would be too cumbersome or impractical. Compact enough to slip into a pocket when not in use, the CS3070 also provides Bluetooth connectivity meaning it can interface with almost any smartphone, tablet, PDA or laptop.
The CS3070 allows two modes of operation. Standard real-time capture and transmission scans the targeted barcode and immediately sends the information to the host device/software. Batch scanning mode allows up to 1 millon barcodes to be scanned and recorded for later transfer to a computer or other device. This versatility makes the CS3070 ideal for use in warehouses where a number of staff can work together on logistics or stock taking.
Drop and tumble tested to 1.2 metres, the CS3070 is durable as well as reliable. Its scanning laser is accurate enough to decipher damaged, poor quality bar codes, even in low light conditions. The simple two-button design means little training is needed, while the handset's small size makes it ergonomic and comfortable.
The scanner's battery is rated to provide up to 12 hours of Bluetooth batch scanning. For maximum convenience, the scanner can be recharged simply by connecting it to the USB port of a computer using the cable provided.
