The Sam4s NR500 range replaces the popular ER380, ER390 and ER420 models, offering increased user-friendliness as well as a host of new and powerful features. The most obvious improvement is the large operator display which provides clear feedback as a sale progresses. This also allows the till to be programmed via an intuitive menu system, so setting prices and other options no longer has to be done by inputting long programmer codes.

Designed to be versatile, the NR500 series is equally at home in either a retail or hospitality environment. Four different models are available, the 510R, 510F, 520R and the 520F. R models feature a raised keyboard, while the F offers a flat, spill resistant keyboard ideal for restaurants and bars. All models allow table tracking, with the 510F also offering the option of printing restaurant style table bills. The 520R/520F features twin station printing, keeping a journal print of all sales at the same time as it issues customer receipts, ideal where staff accountability is a concern.

With enough memory to store up to 6,000 products, the NR500 series can be paired with a barcode scanner and a wide range of other peripherals such as kitchen printers. An SD card slot and USB socket allow sales and programming data to be backed up to PC. Other useful features include a Quick Help function to assist when an error is encountered. The NR500 supports graphic logo printing, mix and match functionality and up to 4 tax rates.
