Arguably one of the most environmentally-friendly thermal printers currently available, the Star TSP143 ECO has been designed to save energy and paper without sacrificing performance.

Thanks to a combination of precision engineering and innovation, the ECO uses 40-75% less electricity than other printers by remaining in a power saving sleep mode until triggered by a print job. Paper wastage is reduced because of its ability to use 58mm receipt roll as well as the more typical 80mm size. Its autocutter has been designed to achieve a 3mm top margin, saving up to 8mm of paper with each receipt.

Performance and quality are still to Star’s typical high standards, with print speeds up to 150mm per second at a crisp 203 dpi. The bundled software includes a serial port emulator allowing you to use the ECO with older POS computers. A journal function is also included, allowing the TSP143 ECO to take the place of a 2-part dot matrix printer.

Includes a Wifi or USB interface and cable. Supports Windows, Linux CUPS, Mac OS CUPS, WEPOS, Java POS and OPOS.
