Easy to use touch panel controls combined with Star’s automatic paper loading functions make this a convenient printer in any number of situations, from banks to restaurants to pharmacies.

Available with either a serial or parallel interface, the SP298 is compatible with the Epson TM-U295, sharing the same footprint and power supply. It also supports ESC/POS, meaning it can take the place of a TM-U295 with ease.

Printing at speeds up to 3.1 lines per second, the SP298 is a fast, reliable printer. Dot matrix printing means it can print on 2 or 3-ply paper to produce instant copies of receipts.
