Description
TP-Link's TL-MR3420 is ideal for use where Internet is only available via a 3G or 4G mobile broadband dongle, or where an “always on” connection is required.
The router supports a standard wired Ethernet connection via a separate modem, and also features a USB socket for connecting a mobile broadband dongle. This allows the mobile connection to be shared among anyone connected to the router. When both a cable and dongle are connected for Internet access, the router can be configured to switch from one to the other if a connection is lost. This provides an always on connection, a must have for any business that relies on cloud-based EPOS systems.
The TL-MR3420 supports Wireless N technology for super fast network speeds over WiFi. A variety of security protocols are supported, including WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption. A WPS button allows quick connections to be established to other devices supporting WPS.
Easy to set up, the MR3420 offers a variety of advanced features such as DHCP Reservations and also offers built-in security in the form of NAT and SPI Firewalls. The router can be managed using a simple web login system.
Perfect for retailers using tablets, smartphones, PC's or a mixture of several web-connected devices as part of their EPOS solution.
