The DS9900 Series of barcode scanners provides users with a 1D,2D and Digimarc imager that doesn't compromise on feature over performance - all at an affordable price. In order to suit your business needs, 2 models are available - the DS9908 Corded Hybrid Imager and the DS9908R Corded Hybrid RFID Imager. Both models in the DS9900 Series offer uncomprimised management and ease of use, with the ability to work right out of the box.

The Zebra DS9900 range offers instant decoding with Zebra's PRZM intelligent imaging. The PRZM's software decoding algorithm provides exceptional decoding ability, even on poorly printed barcodes. Both models also boast omni-directional scanning, meaning users never have to line up the imager and barcode. In order to boost productivity, the Zebra barcode scanners ensures first time scanning to work every time. Two scanners in one - both models provide flexibility and ease of use, thanks to its handheld and presentation mode capabilities. In presentation mode, the scan range is limited to prevent unintentional scanning of nearby items. Whereas, in handheld mode, the scan range is greatly extended to easily reach items in the cart (24in/62cm).

The DS9908 comes with IP52 environmental sealing, designed to withstand multiple drops at 5ft/1.5m to concrete, and also 2000 tumbles from 1.5ft/0.5m. However, the DS9908R comes with IP42 environmental sealing, designed to withstand multiple drops at 4ft/1.2m to concrete, and also 2000 tumbles from 1.5ft/0.5m.
