Based on the popular Voyager platform, the 1400G is an area scanner. It provides omnidirectional scanning for standard linear barcodes such as those found on supermarket products. This means there’s no need to target a barcode with the scanner; simply pass the barcode in front of the scanner instead.
2D barcodes are also quickly and accurately processed by the scanner. For ultimate future-proofing, the 1400G can also read PDF barcodes displayed on the screen of a computer or phone.
Ergonomically designed and robustly constructed, the 1400G is comfortable to use even for a prolonged time, and provides ingress and water resistance to IP42 standards. It is also designed to withstand a 1.5m drop to concrete.
